Check Engine Light Diagnosis in Wilmington, NC
When your check engine light comes on, you may start to worry. However, don't panic. While this light will illuminate telling you something’s not right with your vehicle, it is usually not an urgent situation unless it is flashing. If the check engine light appears, it is generally an issue with your vehicle's emission, drive train, or engine control system. If it is flashing, it is a more severe problem, and you should schedule services immediately.
When it comes to diagnostic services, we cover all the bases. We provide dealer-level diagnostics on all domestic vehicle gas or diesel including Ford (Lincoln), Stellantis (Ram, Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler), and General Motors (Chevy, GMC, Buick, Cadillac). We also offer diagnostic services on most Asian vehicles, though we are limited on European vehicles due to the availability of information.
We specialize in electrical concerns, engine performance, fluid leaks, noise, vibration, harshness (NVH), and intermittent issues. We use several checklists and forms when interviewing our customers to gather the most accurate information regarding your concerns, and we will road test the vehicle with you when necessary to ensure we can duplicate the concern accurately.
For testing and repairs, we use OEM workshop manuals for our pinpoint testing. This also allows us to check Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) to ensure we are repairing your vehicle to the highest standard. When performing repairs, we prefer to use OEM parts, but if we have experience with aftermarket brands that do not sacrifice quality, we will be happy to recommend using those parts.
When you come to us, you can expect a complete diagnosis and a full wellness check, including a digital report card of your vehicle. We also make sure to clearly communicate what is wrong with your car or truck, providing an estimate to the best of our ability upfront so you know exactly what work needs to be done and how much it will cost.
